Pythagorean Win Totals
A team's win-loss record often masks how good or bad it actually is. Pythagorean win totals compare expected wins, derived from points scored and allowed, to actual wins. Teams outperforming their Pythagorean record tend to regress; teams underperforming it are often better than they look — both situations the market consistently misprices.
Compensated Yardage
Raw yardage stats are only meaningful relative to the competition that produced them. Compensated yardage adjusts each team's offensive and defensive output for strength of schedule faced.
